Miscellaneous... Niitä näitä...

It is Easter week - I put together some miscellaneous April thoughts with new and old photos...

All the raking done!
The flower beds are ready for the new season and the garden looks so tidy - I am a happy lady!

Garden enthusiasm!
I found a lot of garden info & enthusiasm from these two recently released books:
Modern City Garden & Climbers in the Garden
I have an 'old' garden but every year it feels great to plan renovations and try new plants!

Inspired by reading!
Alice Munro's short story collection The Moons of Jupiter was just released in Finnish.
I would say finally!!! - after over 30 years!
I loved the stories very much, telling about different aspects of love.

Then I read this book Waves - Finnish poems with gorgeous photos!
It made me happy and light as the feather floating on that water!

Feeling so sad...
I photographed some Zen for The Black & White Weekend challenge.
Zen and trust is really needed in this world of terrorism.
Stockholm and Saint Petersburg are very near to Helsinki.

Waiting for Tulipa sylvestris!
These small flowered and delicate wild tulips spread  themselves, not too bulliciously though. Bunnies love them, so I hope they leave some blooms for me to admire as well!

Sunny & Happy Easter!

Wishing you all great Easter time with relaxation and your beloved ones.

    1. Well, we are not as backward a nation as it seemed: we have over 10 translations of Munro's short stories - but The Moons of Jupiter, originally released already in 1982 only this year. Munro is sharp and clever indeed. Many things happen in Vancouver Lorrie!

  3. Getting the garden straight after winter is always a challenge so well done for finally getting it all ready for Spring. Your vase mosaic is beautiful, the freesias, daffodils and anemones look gorgeous together.
Happy Mosaic Monday and Happy Easter to you.
